So along with launching Sharron Davies Training in 2022 I’ve also joined the team at local company to me, here in Bath, Paragon Structures.
I’m really excited to have shares in this futuristic, problem solving company, a real personal investment because I believe its got so much to offer.
Paragon provides the next generation of sustainable sport structures at a time when we have lost pools and leisure centres like never before, yet the need for them has never been so great.
Paragon specialises in the design and delivery of bespoke high performance buildings for the UK sports and education sector. An insulated, tensioned membrane that’s environmentally friendly and significantly more cost effective and faster to build than traditional sports buildings, but can be adapted to pretty much covering anything.
We provide a full turnkey service working with customers, from initial consultation and project design to completion… and beyond.
A real hands on service which I cant wait to be involved with.
So, the reason I’m so excited ……well, we have a real issue in the UK with the death of so many 1960 and 70’s horrid box leisure centres and pools, all coming to the end of life at the same time. Its a real crisis. Swim England predicts 2000 pools will be gone by the end of this decade.
Yet we must provide affordable, accessible, health investment facilities for everyone as a responsible, forward thinking society.
Never has it been more important to take action for our fitness and health, local authorities especially have that responsibility, and to do it efficiently and as eco friendly as they can. Aiming to make each facility self sufficient, because build costs are so much lower, and not running at a loss, yet providing beautiful pools, gyms and community spaces. Paragon can deliver that.
