A whole host of celebrity guests donned hard hats and high vis vests to lend their support to the Cleveland Pools Trust’s Crowdfunder campaign in support of ongoing restoration work of Britain’s oldest outdoor swimming pool. Kris Marshall, Jonathan Dimbleby, Sharron Davies, David Flatman, Stephanie Millward and Amy Williams all appeared in a fundraising video, where together they recited a poem written by the Trust’s communications trustee Kitty Dimbleby, who’s daughter Sophie also appeared in the film.
The Cleveland Pools are now only a few months from reopening to the public and eveone who pledges support towards the £80,000 target will be entered into a prize draw to be one of the first 100 to swim in the (now heated) pools, where restoration works began last year following decagdes of campaigning by the Cleveland Pools Trust.
